I am running a novak gtb with 13.5, apogee 3800, JRX 2i radio system, and a hitec 5945 servo, all on a Losi K1/CR. it has plenty of power, and when i put a 7.5 in, its a missile!!! i have yet to race with this setup, but i'm sure it'll be great.

You can see the dirt on its wing. Cars are easy to clean up like that if you know how to. Not to mention when you spend $1000 on an r/c car I would hope you spend the time to clean it up and set it up so that it runs well. I mean honestly, if you aren't going to run a clean car then you might as well go out and pick up a used b3 for $50 and drive the wheels off of it, you won't be able to tell a differance if you don't upkeep the car.
