gear ratio?
 

i have just got a xxx-t truck to race with locally. i was curious what was the general gear ratio for 27turn and mod classes that everyone is using. any help would be much appreciated.

Around a 20 for stock. I ran a 17 tooth for 10 turn. Pinions will sort of vary in size depending on the characteristic of the motor as well. Depends on your track as well.

that's with the 88 stock spur as well. If you go to losi you can download the manuals and they post some general gearing recommendations too.
