What classes do you guys enjoy running the most w/ li//bl setups? I like running 1/10th 2wd truck & mini infernos w/ tc wheels & 4wd buggy fronts on all 4s. For me, these two classes are very durable and allow me to run 30 minute mains at an affordable cost. I am not a big fan of 1/8th scales because of costs & they are just too easy to drive. If companies would make more durable 4wd buggies I would run those over mini infernos, the new ae one does look tempting though. Those front arms actually look bullet proof.

for me, I am finding that I am really like 4wd 1/8 electric buggy here.

Stadium trucks just felt lazy to me. I guess I am a buggy man at heart.

I saay lipo/bl in all classes. This whole debate about should/should not run 6 cell and lipo together or not is silly. Run it all together, if one is superior, the other will go away.

there is a company that makes delrin arms for 1/10 scales, I have their arms on my xxx4 and they are super strong and I have never broke one.
too bad I can't remember the name of the company.

and yes brushless 1/8 scale buggies and truggies are my favorite class!

For outdoors in my opinion at least, brushless 1/8 scales are going to be the future. With the tracks all going to bigger jump setups, things getting rutted up and guys with 1/10 scale having issues running them on the tracks, this could be an electric guys dream since no nitro to mess with.

And I am seeing that smaller scales for indoors can let you have races without having to heat some monster building for 1/10 scale sizes up north.

I could run 30 min mains now with my t4. I put the gt2 conversion with rpm arms on it. I havent broken a front arm since. the b4 is another story.

bj-4 arms suposedly will pop right on a b-4. I don't understand why people don't like to run 1/10th scales on a 1/8th scale track. I love driving them on those tracks it makes it such a technical track. I guess a lot of people don't enjoy actually having to drive. The biggest issue though is the fact that sucky drivers won't break 1/8th scale buggies but 1/10th scales all break.

I actually really liked 1/10 scale 2wd and 4wd buggy, but it does get annoying when you are going down the straight and you hit holes the size of the tires that flip you over that you can really see.

I don't mind a challenging track mind you, but sometimes you want to be able to open the vehicle up down the straight. I would feel the same way if the pot holes on the straight were the size of 1/8 scale buggy tires too. Seems then however track work is more likely to get done to fix those, versus the 1/10 scale sized ones.

As for guys who complain about 1/8 scale sized jumps and 1/10 scale vehicle problems over them that is something I don't agree with. You don't need to blast over all the jumps just because you can. Thats just asking for breakage. better to roll over the jump and speed past the guy up in the air.

The biggest issue for me w/ 1/10th scales is that w/ certain cars I am holding my breath every time I wreck. With 1/8th scales I hit a wall and shrug my shoulders. With li//bl making electric more reliable, bullet proof rollers will only help to build the hobby.
