Yea the Tamiya 501x is a awesome car. there are many great 4wd's but the Associated B44 is probably the most reliable. Parts support is awesome, just about every hobby website has parts. So if I had a Choice I would take the B44, or the BJ4 WE SE.

I have been happy with the zx-5 had it now since it has come out. Bought about $100 worth of spare parts and still have most of them, It's Durable, and runs great and feels very stable on the track. Great car and great parts support.

flat carbon chassis lend theirselves to low volume or frequently changing car designs.
moulded tub chassis cost a hell of a lot to tool, and if you want any changes to the design then it can be a huge cost...

I think it looks kind of like a losi bj4 hybrid. All cool in the end though I would like one.

ZX5 RTR or KIT
Hi guys, i am looking at getting my son into RC racing (i run 1/8th buggy) and am keen on the ZX5. Have looked at prices and want to know if the RTR is a worthy car or should i go the kit option. Are they a good car, i am hoping a
4wd car with a 540 silver can motor would be the easiest combination to learn on. Are tyres and rims interchangable with other makes. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't forget the Yokomo MR-4BX
It's an awsome buggy and very reliable. I have about 10 race with mine and anything broken yet.
