Team Orion SBS what gives!!

There is no tap that works with the Orion Lipos. Do I have to buy a different balancer or can I get a tap that would work with it? you would think it would come with one since it the same people

The balance port is a 2mm euro type connection. On orion's sight they show how to make one, very easy to do. I personally dont use my balancer on my orion/peak packs because of there claim they do not need balancing do to how they are wired internally. There reps have been on this board making these claims too, so if they have tested the heck out of these and still say they dont need balancing, I have to believe them.

I attached a decent pic that shows which wire goes where. You need a 2mm plug and 2 4mm plugs. Cut the plug off the 2S connector and solder the connectors like the pic.

The SBS was actually made for their aircraft line of lipos. It can just be used this way.

If you have a multimeter handy (and if you don't I suggest you get one), put the positive lead in the positive port and the negative in the balance port and check the number. Then put the positive lead in the balance port and the negative lead in the negative port. Compare the numbers.

It's in balance if the numbers are within .02V or less with each other.
