so my brother wants a 1/18 scale buggy or truggy. he was looking at the 1/16 but he couldnt find any he liked. he is mostly looking for speed and durability.so please help him decide.

I have two 18t's. There cool but not quite fast enough box stock. You will probably have to upgrade motors and or speedos if you really want exciting speed. Also the steering linkage is sloppy. But they are fun and fast enough for just horsing around in the driveway. And pretty durable, good run time and 100% Ready to run. Comes with one battery pack and a charger, Radio etc.

I would check into that new Micro-T to. Those things are cool.
