The Associated RTR B4 would be good choice. You'll need a battery and chargers too.;)

ya the b4 is nice, maybe not a durable at the traxxas for a beginer. traxxas is a good company, also ck and see what your local hobby shop carries. i dont recommend buying a car that you local hobby shop dosnt carry parts for. either on is good, even team losi makes a nice rtr, and the radio system is a team losi is top notch too. where traxxas and team associated run a generic radio system. losi has a nice jr am system that you can adj, and really get a good feeling of the car with.

losi makes an rtr truck with a novak brushless system in it, better run times and more power.

i would spend a bit less on the buggy and a bit more on good batteries. u will have fun with whatever u buy, so buy a couple of nimh batteries, like 3300mah and maybe a charger that will charge 2 packs at once. that way u have about 25-30 minutes of driving. good luck and have fun.
