I am sure it will hold up fine. The question is, will your Stampede hold up to a 5.5r. That is a very fast motor.

Just go with a Mamba. It's more for bashers, and is just ridiculously fast. haha You might need to upgrade the internals though.

i have a 7.5 in my buggy ( xxx-ke) and its a little too much. i've shredded 2 diffs, gears, melted slipper pads, and balded tires in a matter of minutes! i think a 5.5 would be too much for your stamp. imo.

i agree i got the 7700 and love it, but for bashing, you will want the 5700.
