These sort of threads give me a headache just trying to read them.

But as said before, motor and gearing are the biggest factors in speed, internal gear ratios will not give you more than another buggy just because its 2.1:1 or 2.783:1. It is the final drive ratio and motor/batteries which determine your speed.
