Default Ultima RB5 or XXX-CR

I read the rb5 thread but I wanted know specifically the difference between the two, components wise.
xxx-cr just seems like a better value for me, with all the titanium parts and stuff.

Do they offer titanium parts for rb5?

Can I get your opinions?

Both are great. Parts support is better for Losi. The kyosho is a damn good buggy, hard to get parts for at my track. Losi is a better value in my book.

There are no titanium parts on a losi CR. You would have to buy those. The rb5 can be upgraded with titanium bits just like the CR except for hinge pins. But the cr use's e clips on the hinge pins and the rb5 is a better captured design.

Can't go wrong with either.

I just got the CR and I love it. The new “EA3” composite is really durable and flexible. My car has taken some beatings and so far i've only had to replace 1 ball stud on the rear hub. Just my opinion on the losi buggy,I havent driven the rb5 yet or the b4. I hear they are all great cars and will all win the race. Pretty much eeny meany miney moe

The turnbuckles are titanium, but the hingepins are steel coated with titanium nitride.

The parts support alone for the XXX CR makes it a better value. Good luck with your purchase!

Having owned and raced all three buggies this year, I have chosen the RB5 as my primary racer. The XXX-CR is a good car, but wasn't for me. I love the way my RB5 performs and holds up. The shocks are great as well.

You really can't go wrong with either car, as long as you can get parts support for the RB5. It really comes down to what you want to drive and what you can get parts for.

Thanks for your input. I'm going w/CR. Kyosho parts are harder to find and usually more expensive.
