Default novak speed cotrol

Guy need some advise
novak speed cotrol and the motor 4.5 blew up in flames today what do you think could have happened. the car is a buggy 4wd gear ratio 84/15

esc couldn't handle the motor. wat speed control was it?

you exceeded the limit of the speed control. You ran a faster motor then what
the ESC can take. Probably a mod motor on a ready to run ESC.

Same thing happened to mine first run out on a new speedo. I sent it back for warranty and got a NEW one in it's place. It took 7 days and Novak had a new one on my door step.
