In all honesty, i think they SHOULD be allowed, nowa days with these big races, it comes down to who ever does not crash and runs better lines.

If you did allow the 13.5 in stock would be better for teh guys switching from there 6.5's to the 13.5

From what I've seen around here, a 13.5 isn't even close to stock. Much closer to a 19T. Still a long way to go to sort out "brushless stock" standards.

I beg to differ, I was as the Capet Challenge race in Omaha, NE last carpet season and the top guys were stock brushed motors with regular packs. There was also guys running the Novak 13.5 with lipos that were in teh bottom of the A/b main.

The word direct from steve:

If there is a strong enough contention to run brushless stock buggy, like 8 or more people. He will have a seperate brushless stock buggy class. so add your name to the list if you want to run it...

The official entry form has been submitted to the web site guy so it should be posted soon as well as some new pictures taken this weekend!

I guess the only downfall to that is the people wanting to run the stock brushless, not being able to race with other brushed stockers, cause the fast guys will proly be running brushed..

Is there a 19 turn class also?

Default Brushless Stock

I've heard you can gear up the 13.5 motors to a 25 pinion & make it as fast as a mod & it still doesn't heat up! Maybe you could make everyone run the same pinion too? That would make tech a little harder though.

Also, you guys might want to watch how many classes you have for Sat. Next thing you know someone is gonna want to run "brushless stock" 4wd! You may end up with 10 classes on Sat & 3 on Sun. Just my .02

Well at this time my plan is to come down to this race from Iowa and I would prefer running stock brushless. If I am able to drag some others down with me I would count 1 or 2 more in for stock brushless....plans always change but that is my plan at this time.

This is my first time coming to the Fall Classic. I just downloaded the flyer on the track's website and was wondering if I should go ahead and fill it out and mail it to the track along with a check for the entry fees.
