Default RC 10T Setup

I recently got a rc 10, and i run on a small dirt oval with buddies of mine. It's loose dirt, very bumpy, and not long straights... i kinda got my gearing but don't know what to do with handling issues. please help

Wow an actual RC10T? Old school to the max (old school phrase). I think the Associated website still has set ups for old vehicles.

Try getting new Associated Gold springs front and rear. Use 40 weight oil front and rear, because of the weight of the truck. Put your rear shocks at the furthest mounting hole on the A Arms and on the in most hole on your shock tower. The front should be similar. If you intending on jumping any thing high re position the shocks to a more upright postion. Keep your spring tention softer by raising up the collar's closer to the top of the shock body.

Getting the new springs is crutal. On a 15 year old truck, even if it was lightly used, the old springs are worn out.

Believe it or not this is still a great starting point for setup.

I own T4's/xxxt's on our local offroad track using a Novak 6.5/GTB and Spektrum.

This thing is so cool. I feel it handles better than my B4!

Something interesting that I do is mount the rear shocks behind the shocktower; to better match the rear antisquat and free up the rear end. Otherwise, with the shocks mounted in front, the shocks lean forward while mounted to a suspension arm that wants to move up and back. This also allows you to mount a T4 body perfectly.
