this wouldn't be much of an issue normally but IT IS a control tire event. these particular tyres were chosen as they were expecting a certain range of conditions but now the conditions have gone way past that.

a couple of post holes dug might help the track handle things better.

Lets all just hope for a BIG break in the weather... if it continues to pour and they decide to scrap tomorrow's run then things will stay as they stand....

I predict Hartson will do it if he can keep it together. He went from 28th to 18th by finishing 4th in the 4th round, less than .5 secs off TQ. One more good run should put him in the main.

yeah... this isn't "good" for a worlds race and it's not "real" offroad conditions

With the mud and puddles etc... a club race would be cancelled. Hopefully the weather clears up for the rest of the week. I'm assuming a rain-out today means they won't get the 5th round at all?

Maifield is definately a wheel!

It would definately be cool to see Steven make the main after all the track time he puts in, and he's what now, 14?

You people complaining about rough weather...you should move to Europe. We race in all kinds of weather and you will, by force, learn how to deal with it. Those of you who has tried it know that it takes a ton of work to prep the car. Might aswell have a secondary car just for rain.

Same goes for onroad...you haven't driven onroad for real before you've driven in the rain.

*puts on flamesuit!*

If they are worried that weather will limit the amount of running they can do tomorrow, running 3 A-mains will take priority, so they could cancel the final qualifying round... which would mean things would be as they stand with best 2 counting from 4. If they can run the 5th round it will be best 3 scores counting.

Nice to see 2 Brits up in the A at the moment, although those wouldn't have been the two I would have expected!!

Looks like it will be a very interesting day tomorrow. Thanks to Charlie and to Oople for the updates and pictures!!
