Here's all 4 rounds.
Fisher still has a good shot to make the main, truhe's Third from what we can tell, but there's another round tomorrow. Fish had some problems with Traffic that cost him today. His final run was clean and he got a 7th.
Truhe had all fairly clean runs, his fourth round he cased the mini trips a bit and had to be marshaled Still ran a decent time.
Fish is running 6 cells, 7.5R, and 16awg ESC wire.
Truhe is running 5 cells, 6.5R and 16awg ESC wire.
Bradby and Martin (UK Novak) had good runs and have a good shot at the main with a clean run. Drescher had a top ten run, but had a break the final round. He experimented with 5 cells, but went back to six.
Drescher is getting his offroad legs and getting along well. He had a break one round.
Bradby had some unlucky crashes, and he gave me this funny hand signal about his final round.
Martin was somewhat similar, but he was fairly consistent getting around. He was on a super fast run the fourth round, but got it wrong and had to be marshalled. Still ran a decent time.
Bradby is running 6.5L with 14awg wire and 6 cells. He Loves the Rip...
Martin is running 6.5L with 16awg wire and 6 cells
Drescher is ran the 6.5R with 5cells, and then 6.5L with 6 cells.
In case anyone is wondering what the "L" is, we have been experimenting with lighter wire'd motors for a while now for offroad. We'll have details soon, I'll show the magazine guys.
4 rounds done, the track was chased, the setups were chased.
So the track got bumpy, dry and a bit dusty, seems the conflicting reports of rain are cooling down, but we'll see.
Seems to me, being and onroad guy, that the deciding factor to lap times is how well your car makes the big sweeping corners, takes the mini triples and the big triples.
The sweepers are fairly standard stuff, but the big triple you either Single Double, or Double Single.
The little Triples pretty much only a few guys can do anything but 'put put' over them. Truhe and Fisher are doing what I think they call Seat Bounce, and Single Double quickly, pretty much the rest are just rolling them slow as they can.
The track stayed in tacked, but just got a bit bumpy. I didn't watch much but Truhe and Fishers runs, so I can't comment on what cars are working what way. The rolling schedule had me all mixed up, so I just stayed in my pits and waited for the signal to head down.
The race is being run smooth and on schedule, tech is easy to get done, and there is no post tech.
Have a nice Day.... I'm gonna go have some Dialed Dinner at the Tsuranoya hotel... WOOT WOOT.
Oh, I never got down to the ATM Today.
