Default gearing for d5 in evader

I have a duratrax evader bx. I just bought a gt7 esc and a d5 modified motor.

Can I just install them without changing the gearing?

Will I need to upgrade the gear box?

Is there anything else I will need to do to make this set up work?

Thanks

What turn and wind is the motor, what is the ratio of the transmission, and what is the size of spur gear? With this we can get you in the ballpark.

Evader Tranny Info:

Internal Drive Ratio: 2.66

Stock spur: 88T 48p

I think a 20-21T pinion would be a good place to start for the 10-turn Trinity D5.

To make your tranny tougher, I'd recommend you get the following:
* Evader aluminum idler gear (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFZP0&P=7)
* B2 diff gear (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LX3224&P=7)
* B2 diff rings (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LX3225&P=7)
* 1 pc. 5x8mm bearing (needed for B2 diff gear)
* Ceramic 3/16" or 2.4mm diff balls
* Ceramic 1/16" thrust balls
