Default What carpet to get for outdoor offroad track? tips for making a track? layouts?

What carpet to get for outdoor offroad track? im thinking its better for my house track,e.i. clay has to be upcept evey month, an washes out when it rains, i was thinking of getting 6-8 truck loads of clay, but have seen more an more tracks putting carpet down on jumps an stuff.... anyone have a like or know what type of capet tracks use?? do u think the price will be that of 6-8 trucks of clay,less , or more?
tracks going to be 100'x60' or 140'x80' not sure yet.......

i need help

also should i make the lanes 6',8',10',or 12', i have a losi 8ight T truggy,its going to be my main car, also have a rc10T3.....

how high & the space to the next one,are whoops the kind where u can almost floor it through them?

how tall should the rythem secshone jumps be & how far apart?

and what size should i make my big double, my big tripple, and what size should i make a jump that has a tabletop jump landing?

i want nice size jumps not 1'ers, my track lay out will be somewhat like a supercross track...

post pics of ur backyard or club track....also post up 3d track models or just a nice track darwing, help me with makeing me a layout/drawing? show me ones u have done, so post them up...

btw is there any free software so i can make a 3d'ish layout?

Google offers a FREE 3d program that will work after you get a grip on how to use it for track design.

carpet is for onroad not off road stuff, lanes should be 10-12 feet, jumps sizes just go with what you want, there is no standard. IF you want a 30 foot triple, go for it.

clay is good but is alot harder to dig up,and if it gets dry will burn tires up.
