Default Proline 1/10 scale foams, still garbage?

I was looking to pickup some proline moabs to monster up my T4 for when my daughter runs it for fun. Thing is, I remember the foams were pretty much junk and I always replaced them with losi's, is this still a problem? For what I am looking to do, is it necessary?

This isn't for racing of course, just for a bashing tire so she is not smoking up the race tires.

The Proline foams work fine, I use them most of the time for racing as well.

I have had nothing but problems with Pro-line foam. It breaks down to quickly. I run Trinity foam or losi foams sometimes.

Pro-Line foam just doesn't last. Losi foam is pretty good. I use them in Ifmar pins and Step pins. For Holeshots I use nothing but Trinity bomb 1. Panther foams are also great. Not quite as good as Trinity but you'll still wear out the tires before the foams. The panther foam does seem to be a bit larger in overall diameter and will bunch up in some tires with a smaller carcass. To fit most of them I had to trim the corners enough to leave only about 1/2 in. of flat across the top of the foam. It really stretches the tire giving it a slightly balloned look but works great for really blown out tracks and front tires.
