I have one on order from ultimate hobbies in orange CA. They said they have 8 coming in and it will 2-3 weeks. That was seven days ago. You can put a $100 deposit on one and they will hold it for you when it comes in. That is what i did.

No, after the kit sold out so fast the first time, thousands of kits were put on backorder from all the hobbyshops. When Mugen got in this last batch of kits, they pulled a few kits for the team and sent everything else to HRP, Great Planes, etc. The distributors filled backorders to the dealers but were still short. Most of the kits were gone in less than 3 days. This next batch of kits are going to go just as fast. The problem (and a good one...LOL) is Mugen hit a home run with the MBX5T and never thought by putting the truck shocks and making a few running changes on the buggy (as well as lower the price) that they would hit a Grand Slam with the R.
