I run both a 3s or a 2s Maxamps 4000mah lipo battery in my B4. I use this: http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=LBA10
balancer
and this: http://www.gravesrc.com/GPMM3153_GRE...p/gpmm3153.htm

I'm running a Thunder Power 8000 2s pack in my B4. I've had maxamps 6000 2s, a polyquest 2500 2s, and a Kokam 3200 3s in it before and they all worked great. It didn't handle very well with the 2500(5.5 oz) though, too light.

The 8k mah packs are probly your best bet.

Well I'm not trying to crash the party with a Losi but if you can see them there are weights on the battery holder. I'm running the Max Amps 6000's totally awesome packs by the way.
The weights can be purchased from Xray its there sedan weights they work great, they also come with round ones that can be fit on the nose to keep the front end on the ground. I can put up a close up if you like?
And the Orion 4800's fit perfect to.
I servo taped the weights and then zip tied them. They fit like they where made for it. And I will add the extra weight helps a lot when running lipo.
Let me know if you guys want a closer shot?
Now I just need a paint job like the one above. Very talented.

I considered putting the weights on the strap too, but decided to put as much as possible on the underside of the battery to have the lowest center of gravity possible...in some ways this way could be better than running NiMH cells as there's a bunch of weight right at the chassis. On the strap you're what about 3/4 to an inch higher?
