What servo to get? Monster truck class

What kind of steering servo would someone need for the monster truck class of racing?
I have looked around and found that speed and torque are important, but what price is reasonable?
This would be my first year in this class. I will be installing a JR 590 for the throttle in an OFNA Dominator and have no idea what to buy for steering.
So my question is how much torque 80 or 100, Brand JR or Airtronics, and spend top dollar now so do not have to make same purchase next year?
Thanks for help.

You might want to try posting this in the monster truck forum.

My suggestion would be none of the above. Get you a Hitec 5945. Gobs of torque!! If you are on a budget then you might get a Hitec 645. You can get those for about 40-50 bucks.

Here is a link to the shop that I work at: www.hobbies-n-stuff.com

We have very reasonable pricing and we will ship. Just find the e-mail link on that site and address it to Sean.
