My slipper keeps slipping after about 2 minutes of driving. I constantly have to take it apart at tighten it before each run. It is a pain and is their anyway to stop this?

It is very common, i believe everyone uses a very small amount of BLUE loctite on the nut

loctite, is the final solution, personally after I rebuilt mine twice and taken apart and adjusted a couple hundred times, it finally quit coming loose

Take it apart and make sure that the small wavy spring is not bound up in the main drive gear, also check to make sure that the small metal shims are also relativly free...I have heard of people loctiting them, I never wanted to go there!

Also be very easy if using reverse that tends to loosen them more quickly, other than that i just try to be "easy" on the throttle, not to go from a dead stop to full throttle.

It will do this until the slipper breaks in. Once the slipper has broken in it will not be a problem. You do not need any locktite!

The chance of this is probably pretty low, but did you get it used. I've read (not seen) that some of the early XXX-4's had this problem do to the way the slipper nut was threaded. They changed it to a reverse thread later. So if it is righty tighty lefty loosey you have the old one and should probably just buy a new slipper assembly.
