I think we're all running 19/82 on the xxx-tcr with a Losi 8.5.
Its all electric here, no gas trucks.
I'm running a fan on my losi speedo, just because it's there. I haven't ran a fan on the motor itself, though. My telemetry said my motor was getting as high as 145 towards the end of the race on Sunday, so I'm not that worried about it. It was 90 degrees and really humid on Sunday, too.

I took the fan off of my losi esc since there were only like 4 blades left on it and after a run it was barely even warm

You guys turning your throttle endpoint down definately need less motor. A 7.5 is plenty of motor no matter what size of track and a 10.5 is probably the best motor choice for most tracks. The less motor you have the more you can play with the gearing and the less problems heat wise.
I also recommend you guys try adjusting the throttle expo rather than the endpoint. The slicker or less bite the track has use more negative throttle expo. Track gets real slick and the truck is real loose as it jumps in the throttle off the corners, don't be afraid to try -100%. Adjust it till it comes in like you want it! Doing this still leaves all the top end of the motor for the biggest of jumps, but is still real soft on the bottom end.
Good luck!

That's why I'm running an 8.5, it's plenty of motor. I ran a 7.5 the first time out and had a hard time keeping the front wheels down

Ransomville, NY RC Pro Series Race was rained out on Sunday with results awarded by qualifying that was very very close...I ended up 5th overall and never finished below 4th in any qualifier if that tells you how close qualifying was!
Off the Watermelon Classic this weekend in Aiken, SC and the RC Pro Series East Region on 8/9 and 8/10 in Savannah, GA!
Anybody else have race reports or information?

Thanks for clearing that up...I just read what was posted on the front of the flier that could turn some away because they might have read that and not bothered to go to the website and read the details like I did!
Going to try to work this race in my schedule in December!

I run a 10.5 and a 5400 Checkpoint and can more than make 20 min. I put about 2800 back in to it, I would think that a 6000 with that motor woulb be fine.
