Default Nitro MT2 wont run good.

so yea im a newb.

i bought a nitro mt 2 and i broke it in just fine, let it idle a whole tank then low speed runs in a parking lot for three tanks. then maybe 8 tanks since then, high speed runs and some offroading. well so i took it to a base ball field and drove it in the dirt. the air cleaner got dirty but i cleaned it and its pretty much run worse and worse till it wouldnt even start. i got a mega tech starter kit with it and it said it had metal guard but the only thing i could find was an unlabled bottle that i didnt wanna put into my motor without knowing what it was. the company just got back to me and told me it was the right stuff so i put it in and now it starts but it idles really high. idk what to do to fix the idle, the carb is barley open so idk what the problem is. is it broke forever and how do i fix it?? help please...

is it the HPI MT2 RTR?
If so the .15 it comes with is Junk, my Brother-in-law has gone through 4 engines already, all under warranty from HPI. the engine that comes in that is junk, his does the same thing yours does. I just start the tune all over again, reset the needles etc. but if he hits a hard jump, runs out of gas or goes through more than 3 tanks the tune goes away again.

we just went with a O.S .18 CR-V worked fine from there
