Default What bodies fit electric Rustler?

I have a friend who has a Traxxas Rustler and he keeps calling me for information on what bodies he can get for his truck. Traxxas appears to be the only ones that list that they have bodies for the Rustler. It appears that Pro-line no longer makes one.

If there are bodies that do fit, please let me know what they are and where I can get them at.

Thanks for your help,

Cmotif <><

I don't know. Does anyone know? It seems like there would be more possibilities if the nito body will fit.

Please someone who has a rustler, please give us some information.

yes I think the nitro one will fit. I have read in other forums about people fitting it on. Try the traxxas forums..they will definitely know the answer.

Thanks! I went and looked at the gallery at Traxxas. There are a lot of rc10gt bodied rustlers, as well as Jato bodied rustlers.

Lightbulb mount

you can pick up a buggy mount form a local rc store, all you have to do is crank it in to the rear shock tower and it'll work on anything, i make my own bodies, so i just cut out the mount holes i need, it works for me

Unhappy nitro

and no, guys the nitro body wont fit... the engine holes setup is different, along with the rear shock tower, to fit the body.

Most of it comes down to a little modification of the body mounts and you can get quite a few bodies on including the Jato's and Proline truck bodies. Look at my pic <---- over there. Some touring car bodies work quite well also!

i think its HPI that also makes bolt on body mounts, too, just drill, screw, and fit anything.
