It's phenominally expensive at this point due to the american dollar not holding up well. From when I last checked the conversion rate for this car kit it was over $700 for it. The X10 was pricey also but it seems the US dollar isn't holding it's own against overseas currencys. It seems since the X10 came out the conversion rate has gotten even worse. The last time I bought parts for my X10 some of the parts I bought in the past were noticably more the last time I bought them. It fluctuates, now isn't a good time for the mighty dollar, lol.

Their retail price is £399 - 17.5% v.a.t equates to (at todays XE.com currency conversion) = $658.00

And then you will have to add approx £30 for postage = a few cents shy of $60..

So yes you're looking at $718 provided us customs doesnt slap tax on it (unlikely but you never know) , beautiful car as can be seen but with no importer, you cant help but have reservation with regards parts backup?

When you have to order parts over a given peroid of time, (expensive shipping + poor exchange rate) it does add up somewhat

I'm not a fan of the blue but it does look nice. They should make a US version and import it.

I thought TTech had a US office setup already? (www.ttechamerica dot com) Or was I misinformed?

I would like to see TTech make more of a comeback. I still got one of the original predators, the one before the Predator XK5 (I think this was the 2nd one).

Always loved the way the TTech cars looked. It was like a formula 1 car for the dirt.

Be nice if the aluminium was black or just natural. Minimal on colours has that serious race car feel.

Blue and purple on cars is way over rated anyway.

The site still exist but there is no office anymore, not sure there was one to start off with?

If they can once again have a distribution chain going, then perhaps, but if that does'nt happen, nothing will

It would be nice if the aluminum were plastic. lol

The car would be alot less expensive with "production" parts on it. CNC aluminum is good for prototyping but it's heavy and expensive to make. Molede parts would be much better.
