Default Mega ZX21 DSII OFR Race

Hi, i just purchase this engine, and i am using 30% nitro fuel, should i add extra shim to the engine cooling head?
TIA

And what is a good pipe to go with it?

I am using this in a Cen Matrix Truggy.

Atom,

You made an excellent buy ...

In wich tracks you will be racing ? (technical, open and fast ?)

The best combination on flowing tracks (high speed ones) for the engine its the EFRA 2046 MEGA pipe, and for more technical tracks, the Jammin JP1 its an excellent choice (im racing that one right now).

About shimming, if your engine came with 0.40mm total shimming, add an extra ship for 30% nitro (if you are racing near sea level, just use 20%, dont need the extra plus of the 30%) ...

Hope this help,

cya,

Thanks for the reply.

The track is short, and bumpy, with one straight away. The track i run at is in Homestead, wich is just south of Miami, i would say 20 minuts from the ocean maybe less. To be honest i have no clue what the engine comes with, i will take off the cooling head and take a look at it. I have 5 rc cars, and i rather just buy one type of gas for all them. (mrx4-r, CD3, Jato 3.3, Power racing XR-8, Cen Matrix) And soon a buggy, not sure wich one, mbx5-r, 8ight, mp 777.

I am having a problem with this engine, when i first turn it on, the power band is perfect, but once it reaches 200 f - 220 f i loose all low end torque.
