Default GQ Hammer 8th scale buggy tyres!

HI. i recently picked up a set of these tyres for my buggy from the distributors shop in australia. they are basically a crime fighter copy. they come pre mounted on dish or spoked style rims with the usual GQ type orange rim colour.

the foams are good quality for the tourers, but has anyone used the 8th scale wheels by these guys yet?

i will be giving them a go tomorow on my buggy they seem to be the same price as the cheapest proline full sets i can get here in oz ($70 australian)

from just squeezing them, the inserts seem like a softish (medium in nature) compound, might provide good grip when the surface is hard we will soon see.

post your comments here.

yeah i was feeling the tyre and i thought i found a dead spot on the foam as well. i forgot to make the airvent holes larger, so maybe this is what caused it.
