Sounds good! When is the vintage race? I might like to try and hit that up with my Traxxas TRX3 fiberglass double decker 2wd car!

I've got a pretty good vintage losi collection myself.

1 jrx-pro with flat graphite chassis
2 junior T's....one is really a parts truck
1 LX-T, got it new in 1992
1 JRX-pro SE in excellent condition

Then I race my original XXX-T spec and a BK1.

I busted out the JRX-pro SE last week and raced it in novice while I raced the BK1 in stock. I was leading most of the race in the SE, bobbled the last jump, and came in 2nd by about 6 inches.

People asked.....

"Is that a grasshopper?"

"Is that like the first RC car ever?"

I'm trying to decide what to race tonight, too bad there is no vintage class.

I debate selling all of my old stuff except my LX-T and JRX-pro SE.....but I just like having them around.

I have Losi JRX-Pro, it has pro-se front arms, Jrx2 5-link and yokomo rear hub adaptors.

Still amazing to drive. Had it since early 90's

Says I dont have enough posts to link the photo of it though.

Hey all..... I have a XXX-T MF that I'm looking to get back on the track. I have a Tekin 17.5 and a RS Pro, and I've been wondering about gearing. Any ideas?

I know it's not a for sale thread, so I apologize. This just seems like the best place to ask if there's any interest in a complete XXTcr rolling chassis. Still in the condition it was in when it came off the track from the last main it ran in about 2001.

PM me if there's any interest. I'd like to get it to someone who will appreciate it, especially now that there's some vintage racing going on.

Thanks!

I just wanted to bring this back from the dead. How many of you want to see a Race in so cal soon?

I was thinking a box stock, stock and mod class plus a Modifed class. For those of us who have up dated are cars more then we can or want to go back on.

What do you think?

I (and a couple other locals I know that collect) will run our vintage cars...my 6 gear RC10 is almost done, waiting for my powder coated chassis (pick it up this week). I plan on running @ OCRC or WC, maybe Pegasus a couple times too...

Building a JRX2 5 link next...

Its not super old but, I have a mint losi xxx-t the first kit that came out in 2000 before the mf1. I have all the stuff to make it a box art truck. like this......

You dont see many of the kits around or xxxts that are 100% box stock like you would have got if you built the kit 10 years ago.

Crappy cell phone pic, but my Losi XX is almost done. Still need a new screw kit, new front rims and tires, new turnbuckles and a dual slipper so I can get rid of the hydradrive.
