I have a set of the Mega pinions and they look to be nice. I have not broken or seen any damage on the ones I have used.

Nice setup. You may want to race somewhere too. It is a different level of fun.

Thanks for the compliment.

Would be more trouble than it's worth to race probably. I live about 200 miles from a good track. I actually went to run my buggy on a track last weekend. It's much more difficult than it looks. Also have way too many hobbies. Drag racing, Motorcycle racing, r/c heli's and cars. Also have a 7 year old that's going to be in to everything I'm sure. Going to get expensive. Lol!

My son says my buggy would be cool if it could wheelie. Lol! I can't make the 9l wheelie hardly at all no matter how I program the MM. Since I don't race at a track, I would like to get a motor that's a little overpowered for bashing, and wheelie's for my son, without it being completely uncontrollable and still use my MM and 4s2p a123's. Any suggestions? 1515 1/y maybe?

Would it still be controllable in a buggy? I know you have a Truggy. I haven't seen a buggy with the 1515 1y/f yet. I don't really feel that my 9l is as fast as my Paris Picco was several years ago when the ultra worlds II came out. I want something that is unquestionably faster than the fast nitros with enough torque to wheelie, but still be controllable with good run times and work well with the a123's I have. I don't ask for much do I? Haha!

I'm thinking the same thing. All this car cleaning is beginning to suck.

What do I need in order to convert a Hyper 7 PBS to a plastic spur gear? And what pitch pinion gear do I need to get?

Go here

http://www.rcproductdesigns.com/EigthScaleParts.htm

and order DC-IF148 (46T mod1 pitch), and a gasket or two DC-GSKT.

This works if you DO NOT have a Torsen diff.

ok by going from a 9L to a 1515 1y would be insaine, only high speed runs, wheelies, is what its good for in a buggy...... its a very powerfull i dont think it would be good for a buggy...... id say/think what ur lookin for is aneu 1512 not sure what turn 1-1.5-2-2.5, id pm doug/badassrevo he has a 1512 2.5 in his 8ight buggy he mostly races his buggy an has won 5-6 time with it, hell beable to tell u if his buggy wheelies.....

a neu 1512 is alot better of a motor then a 9L, has alot more torque & power....

theres alot of people running the the neu 1512 .....
im not sure if anyone runs a neu 1515 in a buggy?

guys does run a neu 1515 in there buggy?
can your neu 1512 pull wheelies & what turn is it?

lets help out Xtremespeed.......
