More front brakes, more oversteer, would be a little harder to drive if you like it hooked up. You have to drive it loose and on the gas.

Has anyone here tried one of these? (Team Orion
Vortex 8 Race 1950Kv, 4 Poles) If so how did you like it, on how many cells, what were the temps etc.
Thanks

Here are some pics of my Kyosho SP2 conversion using the Kyosho kit. The kit quality is amazing and fits like a glove.

And if you didn't have a loose slipper you would strip rear end gears like no tomorrow if you even thought about land on throttle. I know because I done it twice I thought first time was just coincidence but after the second time I went back to open center diff with thicker fluid no broken gears since.

How does your WC handle as an Electric. I haven't put my SP2 on the track yet. I just updated it with Velvet Coated big bores all the way around and I'm installing the M2C rear block system tomorrow. I'm planning to run the MMM/1900kv tekin or RX8/1900kv set up on 4s. Also what combo are you running and how are you geared?

Thanks

It handles great! I also have the big bore shocks with 45 weight in front and 40 in rear. I'm running on a outside hard packed clay track and low traction . My combo is the Mamba 2200kv motor out of a E Revo and a Castle Monster ESC, stock 46t spur and a 12t pinion that was supplied with the kit. The temps are around 150 degrees after a 15 min run in a 90 degree weather. I'm also planning on running the Tekin 1900kv as the Mamba is just a little too much and not as smooth like the sensored motors. I think the 12t will be perfect with the Tekin 1900Kv motor.

Hi guys.

I've been out of the loop for a year or so, but I've finally got a chance to dive back into this hobby Unfortunately my knowledge is a little rusty.

I need some help picking out a motor for my Losi 8ight T. I am currently running a Neu 1512 2.5D, but I feel it may not be the best suited motor for the task, and would better serve me in my buggy. What motor should I get to replace it?

It will be running 5s lipo and a MMM. This a bashing/fun truck, not racing of any kind. As such, I don't need blazing fast, pushing thermal speed. I want something that will run cool, efficient, and have plenty of torque.

I'm thinking a Neu 1515 2D or 2.5D. Is this the right ball park for my situation? What should I go for?

Thanks so much for any advice you guys can give me

For a truggy running 5s a Tekin tt2362-1700kv should fit the bill nicely.
