2 of my ep guys broke down. One univ pin fell out d other burnt d motor.

One of them was running on tekin combo on 2300kv with 4s 5000 but the temp was 115degrees on esc n motor? Mayb gearing or becoz it was 70mm.

Temp went up within 15mins while my medusa 1600 kept cool.

Yes this race has proven that electric can last 40mins n mayb 1hr. With only 1 pit from 3rd postion I drop to 5th but I hv 20mins to catch up. Within the 20mins many engines failed n error they make n I finally caught up n maintain my postion.

The first n 2nd was too far away with 69 laps n 67. Top 2 drivers in my country.

It was a sweet victory for me

Make the electric one from the lighter car because the E-parts will weigh a little bit more than the nitro parts. You will probably end up with two cars that are about the same weight when the conversion is done.

Well I been thinking I have the LW and stock chassis and I have the LW parts and the non, I also just accuired a custom LW drivetrain lightened diff cups, spur and ring gears. I was thinking use the LW drive train and the rest of the stock car for nitro, my mills are modded and basically too much anyway. Or just go FULL LW on my E-car and bone stock on my nitro. I may even swap them around here and there to give them both a try and see what I like. But I was thinking the LW drivetrain is good for the E-car also for braking correct? Thats where all the heat comes from. I was looking today and have no Idea where i am going to put that Big azz Speed passion ESC? The Japanese conversion kit will be here tomorrow I will have to see if i can get the wife to throw a pic up for you guys to see.

I am hoping to have everything except the battery. Dont know how long it takes to get here. I will just leave it with you if you need it. With all the time between heats we may be okay LOL.

Well just got the conversion kit and it looks awesome. There is a plate thats in there that I am guessing covers the flywheel hole or something not sure. And it came with a 15 tooth pinion gear beautifully machined mount and the mount and the extra plate both have D8 scribed into them. Now the battery tray is nice too just not sure if the battery I ordered will fit. If its the same as 2 stick packs stacked on top of each other I am golden, but I have to say the battery straps are way to small. They are for a 2 cell pack, well walmart here I come lol.

Default what charger and balancer are you running?

I have my 4s lipo setup with my hyperion EOS0606i charger, it only puts out 50 watts so the highest it can charge is at 3amps which takes forever, I tried my friends mrc super brain 989 and that thing charged at 5amps. besides the superbrain which does not have a balancer built in,what is everyone else using? My last resort is to get a superbrain and a balancer, but I had this charger before and did not quite like it.

what charger ac/dc are you using that charges over 3 amps for a 4s lipo 5000 battery and what balancer?
my ideal charger would be one that does it all like my hyperion but I could get one with an external balancer, something with a pricepoint under $150 if possible.

After further examination I saw that the plate actually gets bolted to the battery tray then the plate to the chassis, where is my question.
