Does the OS VG .21 need shimmed for 30%?

What is this engine shimmed for out of the box? How many of you are running it as it came with 30% and how many have shimmed it up? And where are you finding this information, through trial and error or somewhere else?

I was assuming since it's marketed as a budge 'race' class engine it would be shimmed for 30% already.

Thanks for the info.

I am, sidewinder 30%; runs very well. I've had it about a month, and have about a gallon through it. It likes the 30%, makes great power, fuel economy, and tunes up pretty easily. The only thing I didn't like is the stock head is so small, and doesn't stick up above the body on my eight. I just upgraded to a larger King Headz heat sink, gonna begin testing either this afternoon, or tomorow.
