There were only three of them. Pavidis had a weekend to forget. Everything seemed to go wrong. ESC even melted down in the main! It was not one thing. Cody King has a little better luck and qual 13th for one round with the new car. A great showing for a car they only had for 2weeks. The car looks good on the track and a little more time with it to get it dialed in and it should be a great car. 13th may not sound impressive but the level of drivers at the Cactus this year rivaled a worlds event. There were also over 60 mod 2wd if I remember right. The car looks good though. Can't wait to see it get fully dialed in.

I normally run -10% throttle EXPO on all the cars. For even smoother bottom end I will go up to -15%.
I'm surprised to see that you had the throttle profile set on 1 for 2WD buggy coach. You wrote on rc10b4.com a while back:

I used the production Sphere Comp at the Cactus Classic as did 3rd place 2wd Scott Brown and 3rd place 4wd Brent Thielke. There is a huge leap from the Sphere to the Comp. version.

For 2wd, you start on throttle profile 4. 2* motor with 20/84 gearing. For big tracks we went up to 21-84. Most of us ended up with 2-5-2-2 at Cactus. If you like more drag brake, then go up to 3.

For truck, start also at 2-4-2-2. 2* motor 18/87 gearing. When going up to the 3* you will probably like to go down to 3 on the throttle profile. That gives you more straight-away speed but still smooth in the infield. Same instructions on the drag brake.
That leads me to a question I have about the 20 minute main T4 I'm currently building to race at a large nitro track this summer. I'm going to use a 7.4v 8000 MAH lipo, a Vector 6.5 with optional sintered rotor geared at 17/87, and a 2006 Sphere Comp set at 1-2-1-1. Thoughts?

Edit to add: I will be using a heatsink and a fan.

Those settings were from 2006 Cactus with the older speedo.

The new setttings are with the SC 2007 software and the X11 motor.
