All I can say is the new offroad track at Rev. Raceway is dialed. It is so much fun to run on a huge track like that. Good move to the Revelation Race crew.

I see. Well I guess he should be getting ready for the Reedy Race. I'm actually hitting the asphalt with the new car today to get ready for it too. But come June, I'll be back on the dirt most of the time.

Holy crap, this track looks sweet. I need to dust off my gas buggy and hit the dirt.

Is there a 1/8th buggy rookie class?

They do have:

beginners level,
novice level,
amateur level,
and expert level

in all MT, Truggy, Buggy, and Stadium truck class.

Depending on how many racers show up for your class.

If not, they usually combine beginners and novice level racers.

well im glad to report that the mini was able to clear the triple near the drivers stand along with that double before the straight...
that huge jump is a roll over and after that you have a small bump and then another , a right turn and then a series of jumps.. that series of jumps I was able yo double triple with no problem

I do have to say I had a good time ,, just wish I could have stayed longer,,, I would love to race my mini with NITRO trucks or even electric trucks,,,, I had enough speed to keep up with othrs out there but not enough to carry it into the corners...
I wish I had more time to practice,, 2.5 hours wasnt enough time to be out there as a first timer out there

btw you guys and your nitros are ruthless..lol..lol

cant wait to go again

So glad you had a good time out there! I also used to run my mini out there, and was able to keep up with some buggies/ truggies as I ran a RC18T with mamba 5400 and 3 cell lipo. Its a blast! Though now I am also a nitro driver, and hopefully not ruthless. Guys didnt run over you did they!?

well one person did... I was on the face of the jump after the straight,,, the one where you land on the table and then jump off,, well I was stuck there .. my cars cry for help were unheard because it wasnt loud enough,,,,,, well someone broke my top and lower arm in front,,,, no big deal I kind of expected that,,,,, there was a guy there working not sure if his name was Dana or something,, he mentioned how well the car was handling the track,,,,
when I could though I would pull off to the side,

Dana is a very cool guy; he is the track owner (I believe, not sure since stuff has changed in the last year). Well, at least minis are cheap to maintain. When I went with my mini, at the end of the day I always wanted to see how many flips I could do off the big jump and land it, which usually resulted in me tearing the chassis by the front of the rear diff mount. Cost=$6....
