The Reflex's are in packaging now and Diamond Bars are in production, so Reflex's should be any day now.


It's surface dependent, but I personally think DD's have more traction on hard packed slimy or dusty surfaces.

Not at the moment; past history hasn't proven well for Ti-hinge pins.

With the diameter of the b/t4 series I could see that. The 5 series is running 3.5mm hinge pins though. I would think the extra diameter would make up for it.

It's not necessarily the diameter that is the issue; it's the material properties of titanium. Titanium will not bend/deflect like steel will prior to yielding (breaking) and in the case of hinge pins, it's sometimes better to finish the race with a slightly bent hinge pin that can be replaced very cheaply versus snapping an expensive titanium one and being out of the race to boot.

Right, that's why I could not use my shims when I still had installed the plastic suspension mounts. Everything has been fine with the FT aluminum mounts except they are blue. Too bad no one has come out with a full set of black aluminum goodies for AE's 5th gen series. I am not about to hold my breath, but beating a dead horse won't hurt...

Like pink mentioned, the 22-4 wheel is the same offset and can be used on the B44.3 with the 12mm hexes - 60mm wheel

The problem there is that if you want to run these on a b44.3 you NEED the 12mm hex. A lot of guys that have had the b44, b44.1, b44.2 all have most likely had wheels/tires from those platforms. The old hex is not 12mm and even the b44.3 it is an option part. As more migrate to the 12mm front hex then I would think you would see this marketed to them. Until then maybe a disclaimer on the package or something of that sort.

I'll add another twist to that. I run an Xray XB4 2015 and you either use kyosho or AE wheels (stock wheels are 14mm hex). I run a b5m so had plenty of AE rears. I went with the b44 fronts not knowing that the front hex is like 9.5mm (again, new to 1/10 4wd). I wanted to use a 12mm hex as I like my tires balanced properly. No 9.5mm balancer to be found.

Good to know that I can use the 22-4 wheels now.

Yes . The kit body is really thin compared to most of the aftermarket bodies.
