Well guys I need your help and I hope that I dont get a biased answer (being the JConcepts forum and all).

I am debating on which 1/10 4wd electric buggy to get. I need to get something that can accept stick lipo packs and handles well on a indoor small clay track with a "point and shoot" style track.

I have been looking heavily at the BJ4 non-worlds edition. I like its layout and the fact that it accepts lipo stick packs. Also been looking at the X5 Squared. It isnt designed for a stick pack but it can be modified (which is always fun for me) to accept stick packs.

Everyone at the track that I am gonna be racing at is telling me to get the X-5 Squared since the XX4 is awesome at that track and the X-5 squared only improved on it.

How does the non-worlds BJ4 compare to the X-5 squared?

This is a tough decision for me and I dont want to make a mistake and regret getting one over the other.

I loved my BJ4 before i converted it to the worlds edition, it really is a great car still.

There is nothing wrong with either car really. The X5 has great suspension because of its XX4 roots, and the BJ4 has great acceleration. I would say that it depends on support for the car and what youre motivation is. If you want to be different and you already run AE stuff, then the BJ4 is for you. If you run Losi stuff, or want a well supported car, then the X5 is for you. Thats about as straight as it gets.

Id go with the BJ4 because of the carbon stuff, and the parts availability.

Yes, I realize, Traxxas has sold...roughly 300,000 Bandits though.

The RB5 is on the consideration list, if thats an consolation.
