PW,

Is there a body for another buggy that would fit on the xb8e 16 that you know of? Of course a Jconcepts body!

Which direction do the spikes go in ralation to the textured section?

I hope that makes sense

Makes perfect sense and a great question:

The directional nature of the pins were positioned to allow a "broken-in" type pin (angled slightly in-ward) to grip the surface in one direction, while the pins are more upright when oriented in the opposite direction. The wide/3-row textured ring mounted to the outside mimics a broken-in tire and the narrow textured row mounted out is a more up-right pin for extra side bite.

OK Thx. it appears I have them backwards and I dont like them this way. I do Love the Swaggers though. I'm going to try the pindowns mounted the other way around to give them a fair chance before I go back to my old tire choice

Did anyone run those new prototype tires at the National last weekend? Is there a release date for them?

Nationals last week? I don't know of any nationals last week?

We have a tire designed for high-bite, outdoor grooved, and or sugared tracks that we have tested at a few events over the last year. We never released it because as soon as we designed it, grooved or sugared tracks quickly disappeared and now there is only one or two races a year with those conditions.

Our drivers did use this new tire (Dirt Maze) to win 4wd mod buggy at last weekends Hotrod Shootout. I will have to check with the higher powers to see if they decide to move forward with the new tire .

Okay, so those weren't to replace the dirt webs in the future.

Hi PW,

Any idea when the Strike 2 body will be available for the RC8B3?

No...They won't be very good indoor as the web/bars are much thicker and taller.

Emphatic vote for sugar/groove track tire production Paul. Still a few tracks out around here. I'm sick of chasing compounds that will work when I run outside.
