PW,
Is there a body for another buggy that would fit on the xb8e 16 that you know of? Of course a Jconcepts body!

Can you explain the textured carcass/Directional spikes om the Rear Pindowns to me? My eye's are bad and I can't see a difference except for the 3 row wide textured section on one side and the 1 row textured section on the other. Which direction do the spikes go in ralation to the textured section?
I hope that makes sense

The directional nature of the pins were positioned to allow a "broken-in" type pin (angled slightly in-ward) to grip the surface in one direction, while the pins are more upright when oriented in the opposite direction. The wide/3-row textured ring mounted to the outside mimics a broken-in tire and the narrow textured row mounted out is a more up-right pin for extra side bite.

Makes perfect sense and a great question:

We have a tire designed for high-bite, outdoor grooved, and or sugared tracks that we have tested at a few events over the last year. We never released it because as soon as we designed it, grooved or sugared tracks quickly disappeared and now there is only one or two races a year with those conditions.
Our drivers did use this new tire (Dirt Maze) to win 4wd mod buggy at last weekends Hotrod Shootout. I will have to check with the higher powers to see if they decide to move forward with the new tire .
