I was ungluing a set of gold barcodes from the rims, and by the time the glue came undone, the tire started to fall apart into a sticky mess.

This hasn't happened to me with other brands, even with other jc compounds.

Clay compounds don't do well in acetone, boil next time and they'll be fine.

I've baked off several compounds in the oven including gold. The only compound that didn't like it was losi red. Of course if you do it too hot any compound will "melt" 250 is more than hot enough. 220 will get it done it just takes longer.

Default Bro's or Bar's

First let me say that I've been running Gold Bro codes lately with awesome results.

Here's my question, what track conditions would warrant the use of Bar Codes instead of Bro Codes?

I realize that the Bro's are broken in and have a lower tread height.

Thanks

Looking for some tire suggestions for Motorama coming up in Feb. It will be on the big track if anyone is familiar with that in e-buggy and 4wd SCT. I was thinking stackers or hybrids for the buggy but what about the SCT? Subcultures possibly?

I skipped last year, but prior to that Subcultures were heads above any other tire in SCT.

I remember JC airing them in on Saturday because of such a high demand (Thanks for that by the way).

On the big track?

Man... when I went the big track was kind of loamy.

To clarify, I think the OP is inquiring about 4wd SCT.
