I ran a set of 3d's for 2wd buggy last week and they work awesome. I used the stock white foams in that set. I purchased 2 more sets and I was going to mount 1 with cc foams but when I dry fit them the tire is considerably smaller and flatter. I know that it's just a preference thing but was just looking to get some advice and maybe save some learning time. The size is different enough that it would require a ride height change and maybe even a pinion change. Any recommendations are appreciated.

You should check ride height after almost any setup change, especially tires. What brand CC inserts were you using? JC, PL, and AKA CC inserts all have different profiles. That being said, CC inserts usually work better on high bite surfaces. I don't know what type of surface you run on but I don't really consider the 3d's a high bite tire. That being said something like the JC And 1 (stock white open cell) or trinity bomb1 will probably work best.

Yes; that's a 2wd Slash with JConcepts Hazards, 3D's, and our new F250 SCT body.

I went to the LHS to pick up some white B4 Hex rims and to my surprise they are blue.....well bluish grey. Will JC be releasing wheels that are actually white? If not, yellow it is, lol.

All of our white wheels are an off white matte finish; we basically wanted our wheels to look different than all the same'ol-same'ol stock shiny dish wheels. I personally like the look of our wheels front and rear, but we are listening and may look into brighter white wheels for 2013.

they do stand out. My colors are currently white and orange, and that would just look bad. On a blue bodied car, like the one pictured looks better.

I still like them on various color combos, but if you like the bright-white, then AE has the shiny white wheels.
