Huge 2nd! Was planning on switching over until I read that. I guess I'll have to wait and see how close the new JC wheels match the B44 fronts.

I was a little bummed about that too as I don't like to mix match stuff and to be honest, I am not a fan of the AE wheels as they tend to crack. I think I have tossed more of the in the trash because the rims were cracked then I have for tire wear. I hope JC plans on making fronts for the B44. Regardless I plan to get the JC stuff...I just hope it hits their website soon!

Is there any chance of getting a body for the Tamiya TRF201?

I'm not 100% sure, but B44.1 front wheels will be the new Inverse style.

Really? That seems odd. Does the Inverse wheel match the Mono wheel? Seems like it would make more sense to produce a front 12mm hex adapter for the B44.1 and a Mono wheel to match the others.

I'm guessing the B4.1 front Mono on a B44.1 (with a 12mm adapter...I think I might machine some at work) would be too wide correct?

Either way, I will more than likely run the 12mm hexes on my B4.1 and leave my B44.1 alone.

Green is super soft, good for most outdoor tracks and/or tracks without a whole lot of traction. Gold is for high bite indoor tracks.

I believe it is for hard pack blue groove type outdoor tracks with lots of traction.

12mm hex will not work in the front.

They are completely different types of rubber. Green/super soft is very common for outdoor use when traction is low/med. Gold is soft, but the rubber is specifically designed for indoor tracks that use brown dirt or pure clay surfaces and are hard packed/damp.

Orange is for blue or black groove high-bite/high-temp tracks.

Tires are design in the US and manufactured overseas.

Current parts or in general? Any advantage to running a 12mm hex vs. a 9.5mm hex on a B44? Trying to decide if this is worth the effort.
