The new Bar Codes and Rips are proving themselves very well so far at SmacTrac.
I am especially impressed with the design of the Rips. Losi Red 7206's have been working the best lately, but after Losi dicontinued them in the Red compound we have been unable to find a match.
The new Rips are very close in design with one ingenious improvement. The sidewalls are shorter making them a lower profile tire. The tire does not peal over like other fronts do causing inconsistant traction.
Get these tires and bring them to the JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals in February!!

When will the 1/10th stadium truck closed cell inserts become available to the public? Also, will the barcodes 2.0 be available for 1/10th stadium trucks too? What will I notice by switching from a barcode 1.0 to a 2.0 as far as handling/grip?

Narrow tires on 4wd fronts
Is it ever a good idea to run the narrower JConcept tires (like 3017 Barcodes instead of 3020) on the front of a 4WD?
My Tamiya (DB01) rims are a bit narrower than Rulux rims, so the wider tires just end up almost as narrow as the skinnier ones, but with a higher bulge. Also, I can't seem to find the wider fronts easily in Asia.
So anyone tried the skinnies on their 4WD buggies?
Thanks.

The Barcode tires for 1/10th scale truck already have the V2 design on one half of the tread.
Barcode V2 tires will give you a little bit more side bite over the V1s. Now you will have an option to tune your car even better to track conditions. V1s still rock on tracks.

I am all about innovation and pushing the limits of performance and technology, but I like the idea to ban the ribbies. I saw a SC truck with them on it the other day, looked goofy. I am by no means a scale nazi, but gotta draw the line somewhere.
