Yes, it's important to clean the tires with brake cleaner or nitro spray before mounting and use a good quality tire band to hold the beads tight while drying. Also keep in mind that during the cold winter months tires need a lot more drying time (I like thinner glue in the winter).

Manta body preview; any day now .

We have actually found that the Tense wheels don't work on the front of the Slash 4x4. They will bolt on, but they hit while turning.

Also, in this pic they are mounted differently if you look close. I have not personally ran this tire but I'm sure Paul or Jason will help you out.

Looking good Jim. Do you keep the blue film on while your painting, or do you remove it before? I have a hard time seeing if the color is even with the blue film on.

Thanks mudvayne. I leave it on for teh coveted overspray protection. I paint under a 4 foot long fl light, so I hold it up to it to see how it is coming. When I paint in daylight hours on the weekends a peek into the sun helps too.

The "Y" mounted to the outside is max traction (side-bite).
The "U" mounted to the outside is less traction (side-bite).

Use it as a tuning aid for track conditions.

I love the new Manta body. I have the Truth today and my next body will be the Manta. Now all JC needs to do is release a Double Dee for SCT. Then I can dump my new CaliberSC tires. I loved the Goosebumps but they are not for every track.

Keep up the great work JC!!!

I second that, Also with the SCT craze I wish JC would come up with a SCT body that would fit the B44 (SCT lite class) I believe it would also sell like crazy. Thanks and keep up the great work.
