Thanks for the info!! I have the new split-six so I will be good to go! I also just ordered a new body, protective cover, goosebumps, and rims! Love the JConcepts stuff!!

I like how PW is dodging the questions about wheels for Kyosho cars.

It's a current project, but not at the front of the list.

No 2-stage inserts in the plans right now.

Just finished painting my Slash Truth body and I have to say Jconcepts makes the best products! I hope to get some Goosebumps too.

Now that Jconcepts released the body for the 16th Revo I am currious about a 16th Slash body. Will you copy the Truth for the 16th Slash??? I have been modifying my 16th Slash and mounted a Mini Inferno body on it so that it looks like a half 8th scale buggy. It handles great now and I was planning to get the Mini Inferno Jconcepts body until a 16th Slash body comes out but it was removed from the website. Any reason for that?

Questions?? what steering servo for bj4 we?

Hi Andy. It's been 20 years since I last raced rc buggies. Have put in an order for bj4. Can you advise me as to the best steering servo types for the bj4 design? I'll be racing on loose dirt / clay.
Thanks
Dave

Essentially any "standard" size servo with .11 transit or lower and 90 oz/in of torque or more. Most manufacturers will have "buggy" listed in the description of a servo with numbers in the range.

Futaba 9550 or 9551 (same thing), are popular in 4wd. These are low profile with a short case height so they save room in space cramped 4wd and touring cars. .11 speed and over 100oz torque with digital circuitry for best accuracy. They're light and reasonably priced too.
