I dont know if this has been asked and answered already but what JC compound would compare or be close to a LOSI pink compound?

We run LOSI pink BK bars or tapers in the rear and pink taper fronts at our track, what JC tires would you recomend to try at my track?

Gold Barcodes

That's what we run on a track that's always been pink taper/bk bars. Some guys have run Blue, but usually Gold is clearly better on our tracks.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I hadn't considered the Double Dees, but I was looking at the crowbars in the crow-bow combination. Thanks again.

JC Dare on my SC10 with LED's

I've got some green ones in the front, just waiting for them to set before I wire them up.

You're my hero! Guess I'll have to paint up a LA State Trooper body and get some red and blue flashers!

The green LED's were finally set enough so that I could wire them up. Both sets of lights run off a y-harness coming from the RX.

Haha! That's funny, you should check out the last LARCC's results and compare your Mod Corr race/lap times to my bone stock Slash. Lap me? Just comparing the times you wouldn't have even passed me. I'll be in Mod at the next round, can't let you guys have all the fun! I may even setup another Slash as a mod to be fair if I can get these new Rulux wheels for it

Just a qucik question on tire selection. I run dirt oval occasionally with my T4. I have had great results with step-pins in the rear. I got a set of the goosebumps and barcodes to try also. Early in the evening when the sun is still up, the track is very loose dirt. So, the step-pins worked best. As the night goes on, water is applied between rounds and when the sun goes away the track gets pretty heavy but still has loose dirt on the top of the groove. The step-pins still worked well in the A main. Afterwords, I put the barcodes on and they seemed to be better as long as I was in the groove, but if I got out, forget about it. Seemed like the back of the car was more controllable. Then I put the goosebumps on and it seemed like I had too much traction in the rear. It seems as if the goosebump is a softer tire that the step-pin and wanted to roll over too much. I really liked the feel of the barcodes, but had to be very cautious not to get in the marbles. Is there some kinds of happy-medium you recomend?
