I received a lot of extra turnbuckle parts with my J82 conversion kit. These arent mandatory-use are they?
Either way, thanks for sending them along.. are they better/ stronger than stock or lundsford turnbuckles?
thanks,
Pete
You should have received 2 turnbuckles and a full set of ball-cups. You must use the 2 turnbuckles and special offset ball-cups in the rear for wheel clearance (offset ball-cup to the rear hub). The extra ball-cups are to replace the stock ones; they are stronger with less slop

So what is the difference between the rounders and the groovy and how do they compare to wide Prolines? Also still trying to find a good rear for OCRC when it dries out. Some guys are running square fuzzies and X 300's i think. It does not ever really groove up and gets a real thin dust layer. I am tempted to try Bar codes but have never used anything like those before. I am running Double D's no and they are not bad but it seems like there should be something a little better.

We (Frank Root and I) tried Blue barcodes on friday and they did seem pretty good. I dont know if they were AS good as DDs but they weren't bad.

As for the fronts I run groovys there. Ive never tried rounders but groovys are the front that Ive run everywhere.

What was the track like hen you tried them? I like the DD's when it is a little damp still, just want to find something that will last more than 2 runs when it starts to dry out.

I want to say it was around 3 to 3:30 so the track was drying out.

hey all.
I race truggy and dont know a whole lot about the electric stuff yet. I was at my local track and drove a buddies b44 and liked it.
A guy in my rc club said he had a b44 for sale. It looked in good condition so I bought it. Well Im trying to get a few parts for it and bought b44 parts but I find out that its a bj4we buggy.
Now Im a little mad because I was told its a b44. how similer are they?
should I resell this one and get the b44 like I origionally wanted? what parts are interchangeable with the b44?
are the handling characteristics similar? I tried b44 springs but they didnt fit the shocks, and the bumpers are different and the undertray doesnt fit either.
how about the a arms?
thanks.
