I'm not sure, but I don't think you can use a 11.1v Lipo with Novak's and that is what it is. I'll check around on Novak's site and find out.

Well....I ran my XX-4 tonight for the first time and I must say I love it. It was over geared with the 22 tooth pinion. I put a 18 on it and it was perfect. Made for some nice low end power thats for sure. I ran the XX-4 and the BK2 for the first time tonight and I thought for sure I'd come home with at least one broken buggy, but I was wrong.....thank god.

I'm working on my XX-4. Putting a Novak 4.5 GTB in it. Regarding batteries, some Novak motors can be run with 3S Lipo's but most are recommended 2S. Check on the Novak site for your motor.

Novak Motor Spec Chart

Most motors are rated 4-6 cells x 1.2 V => 7.2V max.

I have just ordered a MaxAmps Lipo Saddle Pack, 5500mAh. I think it will fit nicely in the XX-4. We'll see..
