Need help quick on Mamba Max not recognized by Windows
 

I downloaded the latest 2.23 Castle Link and it suggested a 1.09 firmware update to the ESC.

I told it to update the firmware and Castle Link died in the middle of Step 3. Now I'm stuck with a completely unrecognized and unresponsive ESC. I can't read from it or write to it and Castle Link just says that no device is connected.

When you connect it now, Windows says it's an unrecognized or non-functioning device.

Is this thing trashed?

People were having problems with it, there's a post on rccaraction under the brushless motors forum.
