Default Hpi firestorm

Just got a hpi firestorm, wondering if theres any known flaws to it... Also is the controller it comes with worth bothering with? Is hpi even a good brand?

I haven't heard any comments about it yet as it is still to new on the market to find out. The radio is a basic unit which is pretty good but if you got the extra money, than a fm radio would be better. And yes, HPI have proven they are a good brand. What are you planning on doing with yours? Bashing?

Cheers

Nitro trucks can take abit of a beating anyone, so parts wont be that easy to break

Exclamation Firestorm Specs?

I am the owner of a Traxxas S-Maxx all tuned up, and I am in love with it, but as soon as I locked my eyes on the HPI Firestorm 10T, I instantly fell in love with it, and I am trying to sell my Maxx. HPI seems to graze the surface about 10T's performance, and I was wondering what the top end is on the little devil? Anyone have a clue?...Oh, and just wondering....would it smoke my Maxx?

the top end doesnt matter at all. its all in the handling. it looks a little top heavy to me. if your going to bash then im sure its a great truck. but if you are going to race id go with a gt or gt2 or a xxxnt ad2
