Default werks cluthces

Has anyone ran the werks clutches? If so do you like them and how often do you have to adjust them.
Thanks
Chad

I have one on my 8th scale buggy and I love it. Just make sure that you put a little bit of thread lock on the adjustment nut. If you don't it will loosen almost imediately. Use thread lock and your adjustment will be set and locked. It will take a few runs to get the adjustment to your preference. But, the patience will be worth it. The part I liked the most about it is I never break clutch shoes and springs. That used to happen to me all the time in the traditional 3 shoe type clutch.

i've had a werks for 3years now and I replace the carbon shoes yearly thats 12 or 13 races.
I found that once i got the nut set to what I liked I just left it alone.
I've run many different combos of 3shoe clutches and they are a thing of the past for me.

How would you adjust it if the nut is threadlocked?

I use the team orion clutch and have nothing but good things to say about it. Same as the werks clutch, loctite it and let it sit overnight before using it. Once the loctite has cured, it can still be adjusted, just wont loosen by itself
